I carefully cut this arctic polar bear from a sheet of silver. I set the moonstone using traditional silversmithing skills. Both bear and ‘moon’ have tie pin type fastenings on the back, so you can position them perfectly to let the two chains hang down.
The bear has been given a ‘brushed’ finish, and the moon a high shine.
This silver polar bear brooch has a full set of British Hallmarks including my unique makers mark.
