Grace & Favour Home is the work of Designer/Maker Rachael Rowe who works from her studio on Dartmoor to create unique gifts and homewares from beautiful fabrics, reclaimed vintage maps and sheet music.
With a background Fashion Design, Rachael designs her own fabrics and uses her extensive knowledge of sewing, craft and design to make every item to the highest quality.
Working with her partner Steve, Rachael takes inspiration for prints from overlooked everyday objects and ephemera, such as tape measures, playing cards and bus tickets, giving these patterns a new lease of life and introducing them to a new audience.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
