Handmade from hand cut and sanded reclaimed floorboard, metal and Khadi paper, this is a one off original by Zoe Hirson.

Where do I belong?

I had to be told about the mute button.
I would never have known.
The etiquette of it blows my mind.
The art of saying one thing
but doing something else.

Life is too short for this.

Today I met a local mother on the High Road.
My age.
Haven't seen her over Lockdown.
She has aged 20 years.
She is dying.

So if I cut to the chase.
If I say what I mean.
It's because I think
you are so precious.
Forgive me if I don't always get it right.
My intention is always good.
Tomorrow may be too late.
