A truly stunning piece of tiger oak fused with a metal handle.
The pattern in the wood is caused by the beefsteak, or bracket fungus, attacking English oak leaving a glorious black & dark brown striping in the wood. It has been finished with Danish oil and buffed to give it a durable satin glow. The handle utilises another generation’s craftsmanship as I reworked shards of metal from a decommissioned gun stock.
It is approximately 100mm in diameter, 200mm tall and comes with its own slate plinth.
Please note this is not a functional item designed to hold liquids, but is a truly unique form which would grace anyone’s home.
Delivered in 3 days. Please note that Adam's studio is closed until the end of August, so this piece can be ordered but won't be despatched until the first week of September.
