A beautifully detailed papercut featuring a hare sitting in an arch of flowers and foliage. Sarah has used both 'positive' and 'negative' papercutting techniques so that the hare is half hidden amongst the leaves. She was inspired to use an arch shape by her fondness for stained glass and the shape of church windows.
This is one of four similar papercuts, the others feature a fox, owl and badger.
It is available in a limited edition of 10 and combines hand and machine cutting. This allows Sarah to produce work in affordable editions.
The papercut is lightly spray mounted on black mountboard, and is sold unframed. It will fit a standard 16 inch x 12 inch frame (approximately A3). It will be posted in a cellophane envelope, together with a label for affixing to the back of your chosen frame, with Sarah's signature and the edition number.
