This elegant brooch was inspired by patterns on ancient Greek ceramics and is part of my collection called Interrupted Patterns.
The front part of the brooch is heavily textured and curves gently. It is decorated with a delicate leaf and stripe pattern, using 24ct (fine) gold in the ancient technique of Keum-Boo. The pattern is reminiscent of the decorations on ancient Greek ceramics.
Each brooch is entirely handmade from fine silver, recycled sterling silver, recycled 24ct (fine) gold (Keum-boo). It is approximately 45mm x 35mm.
Made to order. All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
