Stitched Birch Bowl

Price includes UK p&p. If international shipping is available for this piece please select the correct shipping option before adding to basket.

This collaborative bowl is by woodturner Adam Cornish and paper and stitch artist Jennifer Collier. The original bowl was developed in our Risk Makers project and it's now available to commission in a choice of thread colours.

The beautifully smooth birch bowl has been turned and then scorched inside by Adam. Jennifer has then drilled and hand stitched into the rim of the bowl using a contrasting thread.

To order your own stitched bowl, simply let us know what colour thread you'd like Jennifer to use by leaving a note with your order at the basket.

Each bowl is made to order so please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Commission Work from Risk Makers

Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.

Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.

Make an Enquiry

This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
