These elegant ear-studs are part of my collection Interrupted Patterns.
In contrast to the Keum-Boo pieces of this collection, the decoration on these ear-studs is raised and thus more three dimensional. It is created using delicate, square, 18ct yellow-gold shapes and minute 18ct gold granules which are placed on a silver background in an arrangement of an irregular or interrupted pattern.
The sqaure ear-studs are heavily textured and gently curve towards the back. The ear-stud wires are made from sterling silver and come with a large sterling silver scroll.
These earrings are handmade from recycled sterling silver, 18ct yellow Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold. All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
They are approximately 10 x 10 mm; ear-wires: 0.8mm diameter.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
