This small Moon Jar has been thrown on the wheel using light stoneware clay from Cornwall. The light colour of the clay brightens the way the glaze breaks and streaks.
The rim is accentuated with a Tenmoku glaze and a Jun glaze is used on the body. Both glazes are very ancient Chinese glazes and works together with the clay to enhance their colour.
This jar is 14cm high - only one available.
