A fantastic needle felted sculpture of a sitting hare with hand stitched detail.
The sculpture is firstly made by constructing a wire armature, then locally sourced British sheep wool is wrapped around. The form slowly takes shape by using felting needles to compact and sculpt the wool. Many layers of coloured wool are added once the form is complete, and hand stitched detail adds another layer of texture and colour to the surface.
Each needle felt hare sculpture is entirely handmade to order. They measure approximately 35cm high. Yours will be made as close to the one pictured here as possible.
