Each of these yew table lamps is utterly unique, the stems following the natural lines of the tree.
The stem is "cleaved” or split from a branch or trunk and then hand-worked using a range of traditional tools and techniques. The cable is inserted into the naturally seasoned stems. They're then mounted on a seasoned base which has a lovely natural edge. The base is oiled to a fine silk lustre and wired with a lovely vintage style ivory twisted and braided cable.
Handmade in Devon using locally sourced and sustainable timber, each lamp is fitted with a real wood shade made from cherry. The warm tones work perfectly with energy efficient bulbs.
Cable and plug: 2 meter twisted fabric covered cable with 3A white UK plug. Bulb required: SES (small screw) energy saver up to 20W.
Dimensions: Height: 51cm, Width: 19cm, Depth: 14cm.
