A bold handmade shibori lampshade made using silk twill. The fabric is stitched, folded and bound to create this distinctive resist design and then dyed using natural madder dyes. The stitching is then pulled out leaving the image as seen. The light glows warmly through the fabric where the dye is resisted.
An 11w compact fluorescent bulb is recommended.
Free standing, this elegant lamp measures 12.5 cm wide x 75cm high and comes with a flex with inline switch and plug.
