Paper lampshades handmade from reclaimed vintage papers and recycled maps with delicate hand and machine stitch. These are fully lined so they're just as beautiful to look up or down into, and especially magical when lit.

If you'd like a bespoke shade please select the size from the menu and leave a message for Jennifer with your requirements at the basket, including fitting. For example, you could request a specific theme or dominant colour and Jennifer will put a selection of mixed papers together for you. You could request a location to be highlighted by stitch on vintage maps, sheet music, pages from bird books, dressmaking patterns, smocked pages and button loops or colourful stitched edges. (Examples pictured here). You could also send Jennifer your own papers to create something truly personal.

Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
