Fun, dangly and distinctive, these earrings are made to be worn whenever, wherever!
They're made using actual tiny hydrangea flowers and are created through my own method of dyeing and embossing perspex which I call 'fossilized plastic' due to the fine detail that's captured on the embossed surface - so they are similar to fossils. I harness nature to create original pieces that are a memory of each individual leaf or flower.
Each piece of jewellery uses an individual, real plant. The delicate process of creating each piece means that even the veins of the leaf will show, embossed into the acrylic. This means that as well as every piece being handcrafted each one is also unique.
All the acrylic I use is made from 100% recycled materials. It is also free from volatile organic compounds and hydrofluorocarbon making it more environmentally friendly.
These earrings measure 36 mm (height) x 12 mm (width) x 5 mm (depth) (56 mm total drop).
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
