A textured ring with a seam of gold.
The textured surface of the Monolith ring and the seam of gold running across it make it as tactile as that pebble you find on the beach and tuck into your pocket. The different elements combine to make a ring which is timeless in design and understated in its style.
I use Granddad’s old workshop hammers to give the surface texture to the silver so each ring has a kind of fingerprint. The gold seam represents the simple geological features of rocks, as well as being a gentle reminder of the precious nature of our natural environment in our modern world.
Handmade from eco Sterling silver and recycled gold, these rings are made as 6mm or 12mm bands. Please choose your preferred width and enter your UK ring size at the basket.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
