This incredibly striking lampshade creates playful shadows when lit. The white exterior makes it suitable for many colour schemes and the richly coloured copper interior creates a great statement.

This handmade lampshade is 40cm diameter x 30cm tall. It will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp holder. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, simply remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting. To be used with an LED bulb.

This lampshade is created from a novel material and process that Kate developed at university when studying textiles. The composite material ‘Matrix’ comprises a mesh shell coated in a liquid polymer which she manipulates to create the geometric, organic patterns and detailed texture. When illuminated, vibrant rich hues graduate to more subtle tones which radiate out through the perforations in the forms revealing, in a captivating manner, the dramatic yet refined effect that characterises her work.

Order in white and copper, or you can choose to have a lampshade made in other colours. The exterior will be white, so simply select the bespoke option above and leave a note at the basket with your interior colour choice.

Handmade to order and delivered in the UK in 2-4 weeks.
