This long eared baby owl sculpture is made from handprinted papers in white, grey and coppery brown. He is covered in handcut paper feathers and he is one of a kind. He has a pale gold face and a dark silver beak.
He perches on a wreath adorned with crisp white hydrangea blooms. There are 18 of them dotted about the wreath.
Varnished with a UV protective lacquer to keep his colours bright and making him very easy to care for- a tickle with a feather duster is all he needs.
Hangs on the wall via a (copper coated) steel hook, suspended on invisible fishing line, at a length of 30 cm from the top of the wreath.
This piece is one of a kind, made from 300 GSM recycled paper, steel wire, thread and black plastic cabochon for the eyes.
The wreath is 25 cm wide and 27 cm tall. The owl is 12 cm wide and tall.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
