Little Twit lives inside a vintage, orange and gold, 1930's grinding paste tin. There is a leaf growing out of the top of the tin, which is an antique French copper stamping, made by hand, in the early 1900’s, by a Parisian atelier called Framex.
The inside of the tin which is open, houses a little fragment of a 1920’s embroidery, and the word “twit”, which is sculpted from wire. Little Twit himself is a rare 1930's metal painted (lead?) toy figure. The tin stands upon little yellow lacquered wooden feet, which were originally vintage abacus beads.
The whole storybox, when closed, measures 10cm long x 3cm wide x 11cm high (to top of leaf).
All made from repurposed vintage and anti items, which will show age wear.
