These freestanding ceramic sculptures are made by Shirley Vauvelle from handmade earthenware components assembled with hand painted vintage children's building blocks, vintage maps and steel wire.
Inspired by the changing colours of the season.... we still have lots of blue skies!
The hand built earthenware flowers are hand formed and textured, bisque fired, and then hand coloured with under glazes and oxides before having a final firing at a higher temperature.
Each sculpture is a one-off, measures approximately 12 x 5.2 x 4cm and has the handmade ceramic maker's mark.

You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
