'Line' Chainmail Earrings

These ‘Line’ Earrings are handmade from Eco silver and Titanium and are from Corrinne's ‘Ravens Tail' collection.

They feature a vertical stripe of titanium within the hand formed chainmail and hang and move beautifully with the wearer.

The ‘Ravens Tail'  collection is influenced by the First Nations' weavings, in particular the ‘Ravens Tail’ weave, a special technique used for blankets. The blankets are worn for ceremonial occasions and woven using natural fibres of the landscape, taking many months to complete.

The Raven is also a key spiritual creature within First Nations, being depicted on totem poles and in myths - a symbolic creature of good and evil, a powerful trickster within their mythology who enables the explanation of ‘how daylight began’ or ‘why summer and winter alternate’.

Titanium is a light and hard wearing metal, soft to the touch and in a striking matt gun metal grey colour. The Titanium never discolours or changes so the patten will always stay within the piece.

Beautifully boxed and gift wrapped, these earrings are approx. 2.5cm in length x 1cm wide.
