These mugs are thrown on the wheel and a wave put into the sides to allow the glaze to slightly pool in the wave. The light stoneware clay is a soft backdrop to the ancient celadon crackle glaze.
The rim is accentuated with iron oxide that bleeds into the glaze.
These celadon mugs measure 9cm high. Their curved form makes them a pleasure to cup your hands around. Wonderfully tactile, as a mug should be!
