"If you're happy and you know it" Dog Sculpture

This is Mr Happy! He is a particularly grumpy looking and incredibly adorable vintage 1950's flocked bulldog toy dog, siting upon a vintage Helmsman tin, in a lovely pale duck egg blue, with bunting above his head.

The dog has obviously been forced to wear a very pretty blue and green stripy ruffle around his neck,(1960's dress trim) by an over-exuberant owner (he can't hide his distain!).

The bunting above him is made from vintage leather from a masonic apron, in a soft duck egg blue. Upon it the words "If you're happy and you know it..." are typewritten on to the leather. The bunting is supported by two vintage wire posts that were originally hatpins from the early 1900's, and have blue vintage glass beads to the top of each.

The whole sculpture measures 24.5cm high, and approximately 14cm wide at its widest point. This has been made with repurposed vintage materials, which may show signs of being timeworn.
