'Hyakutake' original print collage. A unique one off original print collage made from my linocut prints. *Only one available*
Using my original linoprints I have hand cut shapes and forms to rearrange into new compositions.
Dimensions: 31 cm x 32 cm.
This collage is named after the comet discovered in 1996 by Yuji Hyakutake, which is said to be an icy blue colour, and with the longest tail-350 million miles! Comets were seen as auspicious in ancient cultures, and heralded a good or bad event. The large grey owl is framed by anemone, wild poppy, clematis, jasmine leaves and little star comets.
The collage is cut from Fabriano Rosaspina paper and glued down with archival glue.
The collage is titled 'Hyakutake' and numbered with 'OPC' (original print collage) written on the left, and signed and dated on the right.
Due to this collage being the only one of its kind, shipping is for a tracked and signed package to the UK, and for international orders.
