A serene hare sits in an autumnal landscape surrounded by delicate seedheads. Inspired by the hares that live in the hills behind my house, where I'm tucked in the heart of the Northumberland National Park, this papercut is cut from warm white Fabriano paper with a backing of soft grey.
The circular papercut is about 12cm in diameter and comes ready to frame in a mount 23cm square. (Pictured here in a frame for illustration only).
This design is machine cut in my studio, based on a handcut original. It fits a large letter size envelope and makes a perfect gift - I can post it to an address of your choice with a gift message - just let me know at the basket.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
