Hand-thrown coffee mug glazed with a grey green celadon glaze. The colour is caused by a small amount of red iron oxide in the glaze. The surface of the mug is slightly crackled and the colour breaks to a lighter tone on the rim.
The mug is stoneware, high fired to 1300˚C in a large wood-fired kiln, which adds further to the variation and character of this quietly beautiful pot. This mug is a one-off, it is in stock and available for immediate dispatch.
This mug measures 10cm high, 7.5cm wide (excluding handle) and holds approximately 300ml.
