An original monoprint & blockprint.
I bought a new green jumper and I couldn't resist taking my inspiration from the pattern to create this fun little cup.
The print is hand drawn directly into black ink and the colours are blockprinted.
The beauty of this hand printed medium, especially the monoprinted line work, is in its spontaneity and the additional black speckles are a characteristic of this method. Each print is unique.
Printed using eco friendly relief inks onto 200gsm of white paper, 15 x 20 cm. (Sold unframed).
