These are lovingly made using carefully selected fragments of rose petals, poppy seeds, lavender buds, lace tatting, seed pearls, wild grass seeds and chosen words from old and dusty books which are then encapsulated in blown glass baubles. They measure 6cm long.
The lace has been made by the artist using a technique called “Tatting”, a delicate handmade lace formed by looping and knotting with a single cotton thread and a small shuttle.
