There is something wonderfully architectural about carrot flowers and I was lucky to have a field of them growing right outside my studio, as part of a re-wilding project; where I was able to capture this beautiful image with my camera, during the early light of one summer morning. The gentle sepia and golden tones of the print were created through experimenting with colour mixing and hand inking printing plates individually.
This print is 29.7cm x 21cm and is unmounted and unframed. This is an Artists Proof so is unique.
The paper used is luxurious Somerset 300gsm paper using non-toxic inks. Numbered and signed in pencil.
With my solar plate prints, each print is individually pulled. It is a method which is both beautiful and unpredictable, adding character to each unique design.
