This is a unique handmade ceramic brooch. Smooth black porcelain clay is used to make the basic shape before being decorated with a white slip and finished with the Mere pattern. The design for the Elements range of jewellery is taken from my larger wall mounted work and maintains the detail and quality of the original art work.
The piece is carefully polished after three firings in the kiln to create a strong yet light and wearable piece of art. The brooch may vary ever so slightly from the photograph shown as each is hand made.
Each brooch measures 50mm x 45mm and arrives in a gift box.
