This delicate ring is part of my collection Interrupted Patterns.
In contrast to the Keum-Boo pieces of this collection, the decoration on this ring is raised and thus more three dimensional. It is created using delicate, oval, 18ct yellow-gold shapes which are placed on a 9ct white gold shank. The shank is made from D-section wire which is textured on the outside and highly polished on the curved inside.
D-section shank: 2.3 x 1.4mm. Size of 18ct yellow gold shapes: 4 x 1.5 mm.
Handmade from 18ct yellow and 9ct white Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold. All jewellery is hand-made by myself in my workshop and all pieces are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
