An original handmade woodcut print, hand carved into a wooden block and printed by hand so each print in the edition will vary slightly and is a unique work of art. Edition of 26.
The paper used is Somerset Printmaking paper 300gsm and the ink used is Intaglio oil based ink. Signed and editioned in pencil.
I use sketches, paintings, photographs, found objects, records of smells and sounds as reference material and as a starting point for a new series of prints.
Inspired by the colours of nature this original print is a lovely muted purple grey that would compliment a contemporary or classic home setting.
Print size: 15 x 15 cm. Presented on an off white mount 28 x 28 cm ready to be framed. Frame not included.
