These sophisticated earrings are part of my collection called Interrupted Patterns.
The oval-shaped earrings are heavily textured and gently curve towards the back and have sterling silver hook ear-wires at the top. They are decorated with a delicate and elongated leaf pattern, using 24ct (fine) gold in the ancient technique of Keum-Boo. The pattern is reminiscent of the decorations on ancient Greek ceramics.
As each piece is hand-made, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same and the patterns may ever so slightly vary.
These recycled sterling silver and 24ct gold earrings are 30mm long x 13mm wide with 0.8mm diameter earwires.
Hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
