Another wonderful pair of felted animals by Zoe Stainton. This Needle Felted Sculpture of Boxing Hares is mounted on reclaimed timber and vintage British mill bobbins, both with original paint and beautiful patina.
The Hares are firstly made by constructing a wire armature, I then wrap the wool around, sculpting the form by using Felting needles which compact and shape the sculpture.
Each felt sculpture is entirely handmade to order and measures 30cm high x 30cm long x 10cm wide. Yours will be made as close to the one pictured here as possible, but please note that the timber and bobbin colour may vary due to their unique nature. If you have any specific colour request please let us know.
