A Needle Felted Sculpture of a Boxing Hare handmade from locally sourced British wool and mounted on a wood plinth decorated with vintage ladybird book illustrations, which is then sealed with a matt varnish.
The sculpture is firstly made by constructing a wire armature, wool is then wrapped around and felted using Felting needles which compacts and sculpts the wool.
Each hare sculpture is entirely handmade and measures approximately 35cm high. The bases measure 10cm across.
Choose from the option of a hare with eyes open or closed.
Your hare will be unique as it will be made to order. It will be made as close to the ones pictured here as possible.
