A handmade Blue Tit perched upon his little oak log...
This paper sculpture is handmade by Suzanne Breakwell. It's handmade from wire, paper mache and finished with a coat of cotton rag papers, corrugated card, text from a vintage gardening book, with a splash of inky colour too. It's finished with a light coating of uv resistant paper varnish and the bird is then mounted on locally coppiced, seasoned oak.
Each piece is individually made by hand (Suzanne Breakwell's hands!) and no two pieces are ever the same so please do expect slight variations.
The piece measures 9.5cm high x 10cm beak to tail x 3.5cm across chest.
