A beautiful statement brooch of a butterfly, Blue Morpho.
The brooch has a wingspan of just over 11cm/ 4" made in layers of pure silk and organza, with a felted body of pure wool. She is embroidered and then carefully cut to reveal the colours underneath. More embroidery is added in shaded embroidery threads, She is finished with delicate hand beading.
This is a real statement piece, resplendent in rich jewelled colours!
She has a brooch safety back and comes in her own labelled 'specimen' gift box lined with vintage postcards. The box will also be gift wrapped.
She would be equally at home flying up your wall or soft furnishings.
