Featuring two stunning antique hand-painted butterflies, circa 1880's, (originally from a set of rather flamboyant decorative mats), which have been set inside a 1920's fishing bait tin. The main body also has two handmade wirework and paint grass blades.
This storybox is double sided, and there is a compartment to the rear, where a special or precious item can be safely stored. It stands on tiny metal feet, which are actually collar studs from the 1920's.
It measures approximately 11.5cm high and 8.5cm wide when open.
All sculptures are made from repurposed vintage and antique items, and, as such, may show evidence of being timeworn.
