Here you will find a selection of bespoke artisan homewares designed and made by Norman Smith.

Originally trained at the Worshipful company of Carpenters, in Great Titchfield Street; they are one of the ancient livery companies in London. I have a diploma in fine woodwork and a City and Guilds Silver Medal for craftsmanship as a student.

My heart and soul goes into the things I make, I love the medium of wood and design and take great pleasure in working with my hands. The main vision is to bring beauty and functionality into the home, to improve the quality and pleasure in using everyday items.

I have a range of homewares from sculptured serving boards, cake stands, mid-century style coffee tables, shaker peg racks and retro lighting.

My inspirations come from nature, spending time in the Cairngorm Mountains, the wilderness and being surrounded by God's canvas. I know I will never create anything as beautiful and serene as the tree it came from.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. Have a peaceful day,

Norman Smith
