I am a London based sculptor who works with steel, stainless steel, copper and recycled objects. My work is about creating something interesting from discarded utilitarian pieces. I like to encourage the viewer to see beyond the obvious. For me, the collecting of found objects is as important as the way in which they are placed together.
Often the sculptures have humour and sometimes movable elements. I like the work to be interactive and appeal to all ages, and also to vary the scale of the work, ranging from tiny hand-held pieces to public work of 6m or more. The smaller work has a more immediate and collectable appeal and I enjoy making these sculptures as much as my public art.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
