Playful, handmade jewellery inspired by an unlikely source, ramen!
24ct gold plated brass and sterling silver are wiggled into our simple but strong designs in our Leeds City Centre based studio.
SAW+POUR originated in 2019 as a collaboration between jeweller Amy Stringer and a graphic designer. Whilst discussing ideas and searching through trends over a bowl of ramen, we joked about creating a ramen inspired collection. But the more we searched and discussed, the more we realised what an inspiring bowl of food ramen really was! And there, the idea for SAW+POUR was born.
Why SAW+POUR we here you ask? Simply, the SAW is to represent the making of the jewellery, and the POUR is to represent the pouring of a bowl of ramen - SAW+POUR brings the fabrication and the food together!
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
