Sally-Ann Provan

Scottish designer Sally-Ann Provan creates modern millinery and accessories with subtle vintage echoes. Using traditional techniques, she hand makes contemporary headwear and handbags garnished with intricate hand detailing. Her designs offer timeless wearable elegance to covet, to keep, and to keep wearing. 

Based in Edinburgh, Sally-Ann Provan has a far reaching reputation for distinctive design, with a client base stretching across the UK and round the World. She shows at London Fashion Week and selected events across the U.K. 

Sally creates Limited Edition collections including a Bridal Collection, and her Bespoke Service creates headwear for Bridal, special occasions and the races; as well as pieces for performance clients such as opera and theatre companies, music, television, dance, and advertising. 

Her work and inspiration are featured in two books “A Girl’s Guide to Vintage” published August 2010 and "Handmade In Britain" - published 2011. She is Scottish Opera's milliner and other clients include The BBC, Scottish Ballet, The Royal Lyceum Theatre, and she worked on the Robert de Niro film 'The Good Shepherd' and the stage musical 'The Lion King'.
