Edit Juhasz is a Hungarian born studio potter based in south London, Woolwich. She makes colourful hand-thrown porcelain tableware.
Edit designs tactile, handmade mugs, jugs, bowls for everyday use. Her work is glazed with her own mixed glazes and this makes her pieces even more unique. The colours are bright but you can find some quieter ones too, such as off-white combined with black.
She always likes to invent some new shapes or colours every year. Her work is collectable - once you purchase a mug you'll want to have another colour.
Edit’s colour palette is fun and cheerful, it will give you a smile.
Commissioning a piece of work is really exciting – it is a chance to have something made especially for you and an opportunity to really engage in the creative process.
Perhaps you need accessories to go with a particular outfit or a piece of furniture to fit a specific space in your home. We can work with you to design something truly unique. You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
This is just a first step, so don't worry, there’ll be plenty of chances to discuss details before finalising a commission.
