Sculptural, decorative vessels and wall panels, including found, foraged or waste materials.
Using mainly discarded or found objects as a starting point, I create refined, hand-cast, sculptural vessels which include found and foraged natural materials suspended within Jesmonite - an environmentally low impact, composite material consisting of a natural mineral stone and water-based binder.
Each piece encapsulates and is characterised by materials collected from the natural landscape. These materials (flint, chalk and lichen from the Hampshire Downs, sand and slate from North Cornwall, mudstone and ironstone from West Wales) inhabit the vessels and imbue them with a texture and memory of their place of origin.

You’ll be able to discuss your ideas, likes and dislikes with the Maker and together create a piece of craft, handmade for you.
